As stated in the previous review, Peter Furler IS the Newsboys. The fact that he is no longer frontman makes the band basically dead to me. I’m thankful for this last album with him front and center, though. It definitely has the Newsboy sound we’ve all grown to love. I think you’ll enjoy this last TRUE Newsboys album.

Lots of reviews saying that Peter is leaving the Newsboys. That’s not entirely true. What they announced was that Peter would no longer tour with them – he will continue to record albums with them.

Really great CD. I am enjoying it. It did not disappoint. Heard it first on Com Cast Cable. Now I am looking for a concert to attend and will be looking for more of their albums. Amazon is where I go to find all my books and CD’s Thanks Amazon for making finding songs I’ve heard easy to find.

I have enjoyed the Newsboys music for years and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this CD and at the same time disappointed because this is the last album with Peter Furler as the lead singer. The radio hit “In the Hands of God”, “My Friend Jesus”, and “Lead Me To The Cross” are my favorites from the whole album. I felt that the rest of the album, while creative, missed the mark on what I’ve come to expect from the Newsboys. Overall good album, but not the top of my list for greatest CD’s that they’ve produced. I’m waiting to see were Michael Tate will take the Newsboys as their new lead singer.
