This is the song that started it all for me as a 5-year-old. Still my #1 favorite song of all-time

@perpetual61
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID! Thank you for being my first true love at the tender age of 5 years old. I will always remember Friday nights when I was little, camped out in front of the TV watching you. I will also always remember meeting you in person, and making my students feel special at one of your concerts. You’re the greatest, and I THINK I LOVE YOU!!
Today is Monday April 12, 2010 David Cassidy’s 60th Birthday. Many Years later this Song still brings a Smile to my face. Thank You for being one of The Greatest Teen Idiols Ever.
“And If you say to go away I will, but I think better still I ought to stay around and love me, do you think I have a case? Let me ask you to your face.”
I always had a crush on Lori (Susan Dey) and she is still HOT!
My mam fancied David….She also fancied Elvis and George Michael.
i love this song so much- it speaks to me
I had the opportunity to interview David Cassidy back in 2004. I asked if he was watching the charts as this song climbed towards No. 1 by in September 1970. He said he read Billboard every week to see its progress until it knocked Smokey Robinson & The Miracles off the top rung. This clip reminds me of the Wheezer video, “Buddy Holly.” Great job. Thanks for posting.
@1938mom In my case the 1970′s was nice but much over rated. I’d just like to have my old body, the lack of bills and other grown up S_ _ _, and a pack of fruit punch NOW AND LATER candies.
The 1970′s were the happiest time of my life.
Daivd Cassidy YUMMY
THE partrigde family caused the Viet Nam war. A good song none the less.
What is Reuben Kincaid saying to that feminist chick to cool her out? He should be one of the Rat Pack with Dean, Franks and Joey! What a slick operator. I dig his act. Bonaduce is a madman!
I was SOOOO freakin in love with David!How old was I ??? 12 ???
omg
I’m only 19, but I remember watching this episode years ago, lol.
@dmillsify i like Susan Say (lorrie)
@expertinfilms I was not really aware of “Goldwater honkies”, I certainly remember anti-Vietnam war protestors. Thats been a long time ago, I remember Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon in the election. I also remember that every girl I knew loved “Keith”. It was a different time and thanx for your comment!!
@clintonearlwalker What did you think of the conservative Goldwater honkies that were protesting the Partridge Family? Do you think they were just waiting around for ’80′s Moral Majority?
When I seen this as a kid I thought it was so wussy. Singing I think I love u under a sign that says power of women. Real men were dropping napalm on dinks in Vietnam. I guess times have changed a little bit anyway.
shirley jones was his stepmom not his real mom duh!!
Shirley Jones wasn’t David Cassidy’s mom.
Shirley Jones wasn’t David Cassidy’s mom.
where were you in the 70′s?
David Cassidy actually has a good voice. Inherit from his mother. Shirley Jones looks like a hot Milf here.
