I once fought alone as a silent solder among a crowd of enemies. I was a sweetly broken child in a world that could not seem to understand. A lost kid just trying to find love and a hopeless teen seen only with judging eyes. Broken lost and hopeless to the world around me, I was nothing. Hate was my only friend revenge was my only goal and hurt was my only feeling. Drugs became my escape from life pain and from me. I was running from myself but unknowingly running towards my greatest fears. I was lost with no one that cared. I was hurt with no one to help me stand and I was finally ready to have someone. I opened my mind heart and eyes to God and found that he had been there loving me when I didn’t think anyone could. He was there even after my mistakes. He was there loving this broken child that just needed some hope in a broken world. Today I’m slowly piecing my life back together with God as my inspiration my hope and my driving force. I once fought alone as a silent solder but now I stand strong in who I am knowing I have some one that is there fighting alongside me.
