Wallace D Wattles wrote “The Science of Getting Rich” in 1910, 27 years before “Think and Grow Rich” was written. All of these ideas are directly taken from that book which obviously took ideas from literature that far predates the early 1900′s.

Hill also talks about getting over the fear of criticism, and not caring what ‘they’ think – so just stick to your guns, who cares what they think! Hill doesn’t directly refer to the muslim hero, but the story is the same, so I can only infer that it is the same story – but heck it certainly makes it clear the notion of a burning desire.

Hey ashams22- I’m Muslim too and I agree that everything he says is in agreement with the Quran – in Napoleons book Think And Grow Rich, there is a chapter on persistence and he summarizes the biography of Prophet Muhammed(pbuh) and uses his example of persistence, he uses another Muslim hero (The conquest of Spain) in his chapter on Desire in how he burned the ships behind him. Hill recommends a specific biography of Prophet Muhamed(pbuh).
why thank you Kakudmi. I’m actually a muslim but I listen to Napoleon Hill because everything I’ve heard from him is in agreement with the Holy Quran and sayings of the prophet Mohammed. In Fact sometimes i’m really shocked! It’s like he read the quran or the prophet words somewhere or something lol
