@GODSGRL27 i most certainly am. Have you even read the bible? Which would you like me to take first? Him approving of slavery? Him approving of child sacrifice? I mean, pick one lol I’ve read the bible 3-4 times. I’ll direct you right to the exact passages. It’s pretty apparent you haven’t read the bible if you take it as god’s word and disagree with anything I’ve said
@thach1ef Are you going to say that the God I serve is immoral and maybe even that you as a human being value life way more than Him & therefore are superior to Him? Why dont we discuss these issues one at a time? You’re making the argument, so you start- show me in the Bible where God approves of these things & I’ll respond.
@GODSGRL27 so you believe the world is 6000 years ago? you approve of rape, genocide, infanticide, slavery, human sacrifice etc etc? wow, im sorry to hear that
@thach1ef what question? was it really about fruit? Yes. I believe that God said “dont eat” and they disobeyed & were punished. Period. I take the Bible literally. Every word.
@GODSGRL27 you didnt answer the question
@thach1ef I believe it was about mans disobedience to God.
@LouisPlume
I know it’s crazy in the U.S.
Most people in the U.K. are atheist and don’t know it or care I reckon. Imagine asking a gang of chavs drinking in the park their religion!
What…..The…..Fuck?
What you have to put up with in Ameica is beyond me. People dont care in the UK if you dont have a faith.
Definitely one of the best Atheist Experience episodes ever.
I have to try that! Buying priest apparel and walking around town lol
@GODSGRL27 do you really believe this story of adam and eve was about fruit and not something else? im just curious how delusional you really are
@PhreakStep what do you mean by that?
@zangetsue5150
What about prayer?
@PhilosopherEight gods gives you free will to do whatever you want depending on your choices you can use it for good or evil
Much respect for you Mr. Matt Dillahunty . Keep up the true enlightenment!
>> free will? Nobody chooses to go to hell. God MAKES them go there after they make any choices inlife other than what he commands. That is not free will. That is slave will. “Choose what I desire or I will void your choice and punish you instead” is NOT free will.
Plus there cannot be ANY free will is prophecy is true.
I dont know how this is still confusing to you.
@ GG
After numerous times, you still fail to understand all my explanations. I have already told you in a variety of ways how none of what you say here makes any sense, and neither is it logically self-consistent. Your own words contradict each other in numerous ways.
If God is perfect and he did not make hell for humans, then how do humans go there? You are telling us that things turned out different from what God intended. That makes him NOT omnipotent or omniscient.
@GODSGRL27: “He came to earth, took our sins on Himself & bought our redemption”
Bought our redemption from whom? Himself? He needed to pay a debt to himself? Seriously, think about it. He sets up a system he knows is impossible to live up to, then decides the best way to not send everyone to the hell that he created is to send himself to earth to sacrifice himself to himself so he can allow himself to forgive us for creating us the way he did. And this makes sense how? Why not just forgive?
It doesn’t make sense that a perfect being would even create anything in the first place since there’s nothing its creations could ever do/offer that it didn’t already have. And wouldn’t a perfect being make perfect creations? Is it incapable or just unwilling? The god of the bible is incompetent at best. This isn’t even an opinion. If you apply your god’s qualities to a human we’d call that human a psychopath, among many other bad things. The meaning of “perfect” must be changed to fit your god
2/2
If you’re saying your god is like human parents and just creates us for his own pleasure, even knowing billions of his creations will end up suffering for eternity, AND being able to stop it but deciding not to, then he’s obviously an evil god, and hardly worthy of being worshipped, glorified, or referred to as perfect. If you want to believe in a god that’s great, but at least be conscious and honest enough to recognize he’s far from perfect and that most of us are more moral than him.
@GODSGRL27
1/2
Parents don’t pretened to be perfect, and many parents have kids for their own pleasure. They want the experience of raising children, having a family, watching them grow into adults, etc. Your god, on the other hand, is supposed to be perfect so if he creates someone KNOWING they’ll end up in hell that’s obviously evil and imperfect no matter how you spin it. Would you ever reject and torture your child for any reason? Of course not. You’re already more moral than your god
@GODSGRL27 BAAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!!
@TheMrAlwaysRight exactly! its true b/c the Bible says so.
@TheMrAlwaysRight No, God is perfect. He came to earth to live a perfect sinless life & then die a death He did not deserve, That is the point of subsitutionary death. Thats what Jesus did. He died in our place. We are not punished for anyones sin but our own. You have commited sin aside from Adam & Eves sin. right?
Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
