Do you hear God’s voice?

When I go out and witness and run into people who say they’re Christian, I usually test them. I ask them if they read often and pray often. When they affirm that they do, I ask them "So, what do you feel God is saying to you at this point in time?" You know, I usually get a generic answer like "He’s telling me you’re doing a good job" or "He’s telling me keep it up." I get a little disappointed. If God speaks to us from His Word my question really is "What is God revealing to you about Himself?" or "What kind of things is God revealing to you about yourself?"

So, to you my family I’m asking is God saying anything to you that you’re able to share publicly?
