This WAS a good story until Memo showed up. I am Chicano and the story is totally unrealistic from here. It is made for gringo audiences to feel white guilt… it is political B.S. I was raised in a large extended familia and know life like in the movie… up to the point where the little kid Carlitos acts up. Memo and the gringos are NOT typical …nor is Jimmy … or the parents.
