STEPHEN COLBERT SAID: “I don’t know why humor was valued in my family. But we were a humorocracy. You know, the funny person in the room at the moment was king.”
Maybe that’s a lesson we can all learn.
I’ve never seen the reason call celebrities…celebrities. My favorite heroes and people aren’t wildly known like that, don’t have a lot of power, and aren’t always hounded by paparazzi.
Paparzzi, the most stupid job possibly ever.
Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Douglas Adams, Ricky Gervais, Lewis Black…
I like comedians too much.
“I should be toasting to my absent friends
rather than these dead comedians.”
It truly is incredible to see such a great person like Stephen Colbert do an interview like this. The real Stephen Colbert, not the character. He really is a brilliant man. Thank you for posting these! What are these clips from, anyway?
Stephen you’re the real hero
He looks like Bob Saget in this interview…..lol
He is just amazing
It amazes how Colbert remains joyful even after his parents died.
That’s the joy God has given to Him to coup with his loss.
I just want to curl up in his English professor(esque) jacket and sleep like a newborn baby.

this is the second exposure/look i’ve had of this guy. I’ll be definitely checking him out more.
it is. But as he hasn’t fully discounted. It probably had part to do with shaping the great man that he is today.
