@dementedbarbiemoni Within Temptation has been around far longer than evanescence, and they are incomparable. It’s mostly Americans who make that comparison. Must say, In my opinion, Within Tenptation is better, and Sharon is MUCH better than Amy Lee. But that’s just my opinion.

The song is based on the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb, about the main character, Fitz. Sharon said it during the original theatre tour (2 years ago already?) in Enschede.
