Well he walks so tall to be so small Never met a man who’s stranger He lives his life for a dollar sign And to deal with him is dangerous He knocked me down but I’m on my feet Now I’m so much wiser I’d rather quit and go back home Than to deal with the money miser Let’s cry for this bad man I sing a song for the bad man Well, you treat me right baby, I’ll treat you right That’s the way its supposed to be I put my faith down in my friend And he almost put an end to me Well I work seven days a week Eight when I am able When you take my money from me you take food from my mama’s table Let’s cry for this bad man I wrote a song for the bad man Oh baby you know who you are Let’s cry for this bad man I wrote a song for the bad man way down in Georgia Well, you treat me right baby, I’ll treat you right That’s the way its supposed to be I put my faith down in my friend And he almost put an end to me Well, when you take my money baby when you hurt my family It’s like walkin’ through the swamps without no shoes And steppin’ on a snake that’s deadly Let’s cry for this bad man I wrote a song for the bad man Oh let’s cry for this bad man I wrote a song for the bad man Oh baby straight to you He’s so bad, so bad

@humbleshane ronnie was a great writer. he didnt write down lyrics, he memorized them. if it wasnt worth remembering, it wasnt good
Gary FREAKING Rossington! WOW – Long live Skynyrdnation
well thats the type of music i like!
Gary is a good feel player, but I’d give the edge to Allen Collins. He had really quick fingers. Same with the guitarist who joined the band for their last album before the crash. His first name was Steve, forgot his last, but he played the killer leads in that bluesy uptempo swing tune on their last album before the crash.
Best Group Ever,Always wrote lyrics, and did’t care who he pissed off.Had the soul in every song they ever made.LOved them Always
Gary=Prince Charming…..<3
An American hero!
AWESOME!
who started to cry at the awesomeness of this video.
“Let us cry for the bad man” – Ronnie wrote some of the most humbling and humble lyrics I’ve ever heard. He wrote lyrics that were simple and profound. You were left with no question of what he was writing about, of how he felt. And it made sense. God bless you Ronnie…
Best southern rock that will ever be f—— awesome
Without a doubt the greatest band to ever grace the music industry! R.I.P. Ronnie, Steve, Billy, Leon and Alan!
I’m so glad this was filmed.
IT’S A BEAUTIFULTHING!
@ziggyernie …If there had been no plane crash they would be one of the top bands of all time…If Steve and Ronnie had of made 4 or 5 more albums…The evidence would be plain for all to see…Their legend is timeless…100 years from now someone will be playing this song.
I love you more then anything ronnie
Why can’t lady gaga’s stupid man lookin ass get on a plane and crash, With it’s dumb retarded ugly ass ain’t worth a fuck self. Someone needs to snip that bitch with a 50cal right in the forehead. SKYNYRD RULES!!!!!
If they make a Skynyrd movie, they gotta get Dwight Yoakam to play Ronnie. Fuckin love this song, used to open up with this one giggin in the biker bars down here in Loozyanna.
This is the shit. But don’t forget about ArtumisPyle on them drums. Greatest band to ever grace the stage. And I heard Ronnie could whip some ass if need be. This is some good shit…
