The Newsboys ran off the main stage to a smaller stage in the middle of the audience to sing a medley of older songs and even a few DC talk songs.

if they continue to produce records and do projects that glorify God, then what’s all the fuss about? Peter was good, and I’m sure Michael will be good too…
The Newsboys job is to worship God. Michael Tait, our brother in Christ, is qualified for the job.

Peter Furler was better but Tait has stepped up to the mic now and he’s doing a pretty good job even though everyone misses Peter Furler. Newsboys have a new sound to them a more modern sound because Peter is in control of the music now and he’s getting what he wants, out.
1. Keep in mind that Peter was one of the people in on the decision to go with Tait as new lead singer.
2. From the look of it, this is the Stage B Medley where they bring back songs from previous albums. No one seems to be complaining about a lack of John Jones or Phil Joel for this video.
3. Michael is not Peter…Peter is not John James…
4. These guys put on an amazing performance when they came to town last September! Don’t get down on them for the singer switch.
Just keep in mind, it’s about the message not about the messenger.
If you’re gonna replace the lead singer in an established band…
There are people who sound like Peter Furler.
That’s the sound that made them famous.
Nothing against Tait, just not the right guy for this particular job.
i agree. i am going to see them on 9/5 only because it said newsboys plus peter hoping he sings SHINE and the right way it is meant to be!
That was terrible all around. Wake up guys, bring Peter back or at least get someone who knows how to sing like Peter.
