Hey Guys,
I’m a couple of hours from going to see an old friend of mine who’s become an alcoholic. God is sending me, and, if you remember me from my previous thread, my faith is pretty shaky. But I’ve been praying and opening my heart and mind to God based on that thin sliver of faith and things are happening in my life.
So, I’m about to do something that I never thought I’d do (share my experience with God with an old drinking buddy), and I’m not sure how I’ll be received. He’s a good person, so I know he wont throw me out of his house or such as that, but I still harbor a bit of anxiety over doing this. And this will blow his mind coming from my mouth given my own background. He hasn’t an inkling about this new direction my life has taken.
Okay, so I’d love to have some prayers backing me up as I take my first action on God’s behalf. Bring it on! Pray me up some courage!!!!
