Please allow me to educate you…A ray of light travels at 186,000 miles a second…so, a beam of light from here will reach the moon in a second and a half. Imagine you could travel that fast. You could reach Mercury in four-and-a-half minutes. Getting to Jupiter would would take about thirty-five minutes. If you decided to go on, you could get to Saturn in about an hour, but it would take you four years and four months to get to the nearest star…Travelling just to the edge of our galaxy, the Milky Way, would take you about 100,000 years. If you could count the stars as you travel, you would find about a hundred billion in the Milky Way alone…If you and I wanted to explore other galaxies, you would have literally billions to choose from. The size of the universe is incomprehensible…
Who, I ask, who made all of that…? Well, some Scientists would have you and I believe there was this big explosion that eventually formed a primordial swamp, yet Science still cannot explain it. I’ll say it again…Beloved….God our Creator made it all…

That little tiny Baby in the manger…The babe Bethlehem. He made everything.
Also, In Him all things hold together [Verse 17]. Hebrew 1 again confirms Colossians 1…It says: Who, being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His Power [verse 3 of Hebrews]…Listen Beloved, without Him, the world would fall apart. Please, whatever you do, don’t buy into the lie of…..’deism’…which says that God made everything, wound it up, and went away. Make no mistake Beloved, far from deserting His creation, He stepped into it as a little infant with only a manger for His cradle. Jesus, was indeed God in human flesh…
God’s Christmas Gift To You And I
Lets ask the question once again…Who was that tiny Baby that Mary gave birth too? God, that’s who! Yet the deep thought piercing question is…Why would God become a man…be born in such a lowly manner, and let men treat Him the way they did…? Why…? Why would Jesus, though He is before all things [Colossians 1:17]…and has… first place in everything [verse 18]…deign to come to earth as a Baby, suffer the abuse He suffered…and die such a painful death…? God answers that question in verses 19-20 of Colossians… For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell…And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himselfby Him, I say, [Paul speaking here[...whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven...
Listen Beloved, He did it to make peace between God and man...God is justifiably angry with humanity's 'sin'...All of us...you..and I and the whole world...have sinnedand we sin repeatedly...Yet, He loves us enough that He gave His own Son [Himself as man/flesh]…to live on earth, die on a cross, and bear our sins in His own body, suffering the full weight of God’s wrath, which really should have been yours and my lot…Listen Beloved, God paid our penalty and restored peace between us and Himself…It could not have been done any other way…
So, Christmas if first of all, a celebration of God’s love towards you and I and the whole world…That babe who Mary gave birth too is more than just a tender child…He is the image of God…the…prototokos…God the Creator of all heaven and earth…placed Himself into Mary’s womb…and…became a Human Being…so that He might bear in that body the sins of the world…His Christmas gift to you and I…? Eternal life [Romans 6:23]…That is the sum of the Christmas message….
Answer The Door And Respond To Him
Listen..if you are not a ‘Born Again’ Christian John 3:3…Don’t get lost in the scope of it all…The incarnation of God in Jesus Christ…is nothing if it is not personal…God loves you…He knows you better than you know yourself…yet He loves you…He entered this world…took on Human flesh, and died on a cross to bear your sins and mine…to pay the penalty for our iniquities…to remove our guilt…He did it so that you might enter into His presence…
Specifically…He calls you to respond in ‘faith’…Turn from your sin to Him…Believe He has forgiven your sin and trust Him…with your life…[John 3:18; 36]…Follow Him without reservation…Listen Beloved, Jesus Christ must take place and have ‘Lordship’ in your life…’First place in everything [Colossians 1:18]…He who created everything will make you a new creature…remolded in His image, with new desires and a new heart…[2 Corinthians 5:17]…
This Christmas…make that tiny Baby…who is no other God in Human flesh..Jesus Christ…the reason for the season…His Christmas gift is the greatest gift you could ever accept.
