Hi,

I’ve had difficulty making and keeping lasting friendships and I’m not sure why. I had to go on disability a little over 9 yrs ago so I am in my home alone most days except to go to church and appts. My church is wonderful and I have a lot of acquaintances but that’s as far as it goes. It could have something to do with most of the people being a lot younger than me, or are married with children. There aren’t many singles. I’ve started becoming much more isolated and extremely lonely most of the time. My phone doesn’t ring for a day or more. I go to workout at a gym and am lonely there. I do have family up here but I feel alienated from them and it’s because I’m a Christian and they’re not. They are uncomfortable being around me because they don’t relate to how I live my life compared to how they live theirs.

Please here my heart, I’m not saying all this to receive pity. I am in need of prayer for me to have close intimate relationships.
