For the past few months I’ve been searching for answers regarding the direction and message that God wants me to share and the cellgroup / bible study that I am handling. I search and was desperately seeking God. Fortunately God provided me an answer in a very unexpected situation. I was browsing the internet when I came to see a very intriguing ebook title which is “How To Have Real Faith.” It was written by Rick Warren (One of the famous christian authors) who wrote the best selling book “Purpose Driven Life.”
Though I am already a bible believing christian for so many years, that phrase really made me think twice. The title question my believe and it made me interested to read more of it. Luckily, Rick Warren is very generous enough to give it for free!
This is 9 page report about faith. You may have been a christian for so long but I still recommend that you read this. Not for the sake of confirming your faith but simply to uplift your faith and build a more stronger foundation in Christ.
I always remember a lesson I learned from a good friend of mine, he says that the best thing we could do everyday is to teach ourselves about salvation. He explained that it is better to study about what Christ did to save all of us from sin. It will make us draw more closer to Him. In fact, the more we study salvation, it make us love God more and more. It deepens our relationship with Him and we realize that we are nothing apart from God.
Just to give you a brief information about the book, it discusses 5 major things about faith:
1.) REAL FAITH IS NOT JUST SOMETHING YOU SAY
2.) REAL FAITH IS NOT JUST SOMETHING YOU FEEL
3.) REAL FAITH IS NOT JUST SOME SOMETHING YOU THINK
4.) REAL FAITH IS NOT JUST SOMETHING YOU BELIEVE
5.) REAL FAITH IS SOMETHING YOU DO
To download the ebook click How To Have Real Faith.
I truly promise this will deepen your perspective about your faith. Believe me, what’s important in a christian life is how we build a strong foundation in Christ. This will help! B-)

A Turn in My Life: On Reading Paulo Coelho
I have been an ardent reader all my life and books have always been my most worthy companions. But there are times that a single line from a book that I am reading strikes me so powerfully that even if I don’t read another page, my life would have changed forever. One such line was from Paulo Coelho’s ‘The Alchemist’, and it did change my life quite remarkably.

What Does the Phrase “My Name” Mean in the Bible?
It is easy in reading the Bible to read over phrases we do not completely understand, just skip over them, and go on. The phrase “my name” was often used by Jesus. Do we know what he meant by that or do we just kind of guess?

Sometimes, we only become good stewards about big and valuable things. Again, being good stewards should not show selectiveness on things being take care of. The bible says “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,”.

Daily Devotion: You Can’t Save People
Whether we like it or not, we are ought to share to good news to every people we know. But we as people are limited to what we can share. I still remember when I was a child every time my father talks to us about salvation, that they can’t save us but our faith can. What does this mean? It simply means that each individual will held liable for themselves. No one can save their friends, family, relatives, officemantes, even churchmates.

Daily Devotion: Fruit Of Misbehavior
Whether we like it or not, we are personally responsible for our own actions, if we sow good things, we will reap also good things; on the other hand, if we planted bad seeds, we will reap bad fruits. This is what’s hard about leadership; your years of work and sacrifice could be forgotten with a single mistake and error.

Daily Devotion: The Danger Of Having Idols
this is the danger of having idols in our lives. Time will come that God may remove them from our hands if we will give much attention to them rather than knowing God. If fact, we all know that we are made for His purpose. I guess its time for us to give up those idols then come back to God.
