In the Bible, there is a famous story of the woman with an issue of blood. This lady had suffered for twelve years and had spent all that she had searching for a cure. Am sure she was very weak and frail due to losing blood for all that time. When she came to Jesus, all she wanted is to touch the hem of his garment. She did not even want Jesus to know what she was about to do. She made her way through the crowds to where he was. This must have been very tiring and cumbersome for her considering how frail and weak she was. She refused to give up for she knew where her miracle was. She believed with all of her mind that touching his garment would make her whole. She did exactly that and immediately, the blood ceased to flow. Jesus felt the power leaving him and looked around to find out who had touched him. He even asked around although am sure he knew who had touched him. The lady, greatly afraid explained to the Master what she had just done. As the crowd was jostling and pushing to have a glimpse of Jesus, some may have touched him. But this touch was different. This was a faith touch. As a result there was a result. This woman was healed for she had faith that she would if only she touched him. Today, what do you want God to do for you? Do you have faith to believe that he can do it if only you believe? Do you doubt God? If you do, don’t even bother asking anything from him for you will not receive anything. Put your faith at work today and he will make it happen for you. He said if you can only have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain move and it will relocate to wherever you want. Speak to that mountain in your life through faith and it shall move. It can be any situation, nothing is impossible for God. If you lack faith, ask for it in Jesus name and he shall give you.

This is simply inviting the supernatural power of God to manifest in your situation. Through out the Bible, we have seen God performing miracles that no science can explain. His people prayed or cried to him for help and he heard. The result was miracles that dumbfounded them.

The Promises of God in Our Lives
Mostly when God promises us something, we expect this to take root immediately. This rarely happens and the opposite usually is the first result. When God promised me financial breakthrough, I lost everything I had at that time. I even got to a point where I was even doubting the words I heard from God, but he had come in such a way that I could not doubt even for a minute that God had surely spoken to me.

When you are serving God, it is very easy to think that all your work is in vain. You might get tired or even lose focus. These are all strategies designed by the evil one. He wants you to think that nothing good will ever come from what you are doing. The devil hates it when we serve God for he knows that when we are doing it, we are truly touching the heart of God. He knows that we have already got the breakthroughs we have already been waiting for.

This is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. This is the fuel of a Christian’s life. Through faith, we have all the desires of our hearts. God is able to accomplish his will in us and fulfill his promises through this divine gift.

After Joseph’s death, Satan sought to find and eliminate the Conqueror who would kill him. But God guided Satan’s minions to protect Him instead. God saw Israel’s affliction and revealed His greatest name – YHWH – as the One Who always keeps His promises. Then God remembered His promise to Christ, Eve, Noah, and Abraham, and mightily prepared Egypt to release the people in whose wombs His Redeemer lived.

The Wages Of Sin (Consciousness) Is (Spiritual) Death… ie… Religion
The wages of sin (consciousness) leads to “hell” / spiritual deadness (shame, guilt, perceived separation from God)… that’s why Paul says in Romans 8:1, there is now therefore to condemnation (guilt / shame because of sin) for those who are in Christ Jesus. Read in audience context…

It is not easy to have a burden for people who are not related to you. It takes God for someone to be compassionate and do something for people who are in need. We as men are selfish and self-centered. Thinking and being there for others is a gift from God. At times, it requires a lot of self sacrifice. All this can be achieved if we crucify ourselves and ask Christ to be our Lord and savior.

What Matters To God
When we get born again, we are so careful to do everything perfectly and please God in all that we do. We think before we talk and treat people better. Our love for God is very intense. We want to tell everyone about this wonderful thing we feel and preach to everyone though most of the time we are not even sure of what we are saying. We spend a lot of time with God in prayer and reading his word.

Mathew 9:35-37. When Jesus was preaching the word to the people, many came from all parts of the world to see him and hear from him. Most expected for God to move in there lives and break them free from the bondage that suppressed them. At one time, he looked at them and saw what they had to go through to just come and be ministered to by him. Some even fainted from hunger.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
Jesus told a story of how a certain man was attacked by robbers who beat him up and left him for dead. As he lay on the road unconscious, a priest passed by and had one look at him then went his way, passing on the other side of the road. A few minutes later, a Levi passed by and did exactly what the priest did and went his way too.

Many people miss the formula of how to get their financial breakthrough. It’s all very simple; you have to understand why God does things. He will not bless you so as you have a fat bank account. He wants you to have money so as you can feed, educate and shelter the needy. He wants you to be able to make a lasting change in someone else life. That’s the only time he will give you more than you need. The day you will truly understand this principle, you will be on your way to financial overflow

Where Does God Want You to Spend Most of Your Time
Some people would say the church. If this was true, God would have made everyday a Sabbath. Jesus too would have spent all his time in the temple of God. God wants you to spend most of your time where you are of real use and are impacting on people’s lives. If every one of us was truly being a good steward of what God has given us, most of the problems we see today would be a thing of the past.

When challenges encompass us, as they will sometimes, what is your reaction? Do you run to God for help or do you just opt to do it on your own? What happens when we get a challenge is rush and get a quick solution for it. We most often than not do not remember that God wants to be there for us and take us through all that we face in this life. When all does not work, we remember him and ask if he can intervene.

When we give our lives to God, we ask him to come and be our Lord and Savior. What this means is that we are not the drivers of our lives and destinies anymore but Jesus Christ is. We stop living for ourselves but for God. We ask that his will may be done in our lives. Whatever he wants to do in us, he may do to the glory and honor of his Holy name.
