took me awhile to forgive em both. but i did…i dont know what made me strong to live & move on. sometimes i wish those residential schools were never invented. and then came down to dysfunctional families in native aboriginals..generation to generation. its gotten better now. ..im glad i made it. most of my native brothers gave up, and ended up in jail. but kudos to the video..i’ll pray for you all who went through hard times…don’t ever give up

this song is so damn sad. i remember having a hard childhood. getting abused..killed half to death. watching my dad beat up people..my mom and him drinking alot. i remember trying to run away alot of times..blacked out some memories..dad having the knife against my mom..me and my sis yelling him to stop, then he walked out. we took off, and he came back a year later. he was a residential school survivor. so i don’t blame him. …its a pain in the ass growing up with all that rage.
