Don’t have very many friends here

I do not know very many people on this site yet. I guess it because the fact that I am a little shy. Maybe it is fact that the internet is a scary place. Because you never know if the person on the another end is who they say they are? They could be someone out to hurt you and just because they seem nice doesn’t mean they are. They could be lying about it. And to come to fact how do you know that they are even christians just because they say they are doesn’t make it true. I have a hard time trusting people because I have been scammed before, so I guess it is hard for me to trust after that. I am not so bold to come out and ask too many questions. What gives people the right to ask such personnel question when you don’t even know who they are at all. I need to get to know the person over time before I start to spill my guts on who I am. So I would not expect someone who doesn’t know me to do the same. There are so many on this site that have saiid things about me that are not true. There are some on this site who have attacked me personaly and I forgive them they know who they are, but they have to come forward a admite to what they say and asks for forgivness too. I do not hold anything against anyone because God will bring the right people into my life, the ones who will be true friends. The ones who will not go back behind my back and say things that are not true. The ones who will be there to listen and help me. So I will trust in our Lord only.

It becomes necessary to take ourselves or our thoughts out of any situation and let God come into play. It’s really not hard when things begin to fl ow. The hard part for most people is the letting go of what we know. By letting go of our control, and putting trust in our faith, we will be lead in the right direction. Since we can’t see this you will ask, how can we trust in something we can’t see? Good question. I will try to come up with an answer for you in my next book.

It’s easy to follow our path in faith once we let go of all the fear that stops us from achieving our goal. I will give you an example. Many times in my life all I had to follow was faith. There were times when I didn’t know how I was going to eat or where I was going to live. If I had time to look back at those times and start worrying about this situation I would have been a nervous wreck. Instead, I lived in the moment with God and my angels knowing that they would not let me get hurt and would protect me at all times. Knowing that I was loved by them, as you are, is what kept me going through bad times.

It does no good to worry. Worrying stops the fl ow of energy and puts a block in our path. For those of you that are reading this, hasn’t God taken care of you so far? Hasn’t he made sure you are safe, have food, and people in your life to help you when you needed them? Of course, He has.

Our Creator not only wants to help us, but He wants us to be happy to feel love and peace. Many of the times that I have been stressed, God has opened my eyes. He probably should have used a hammer, but our angels are gentle with us. I remember one time I had created a script of love poems and I wanted to do something special with them. It wasn’t enough just to have written them, I wanted them to be read by someone or somebody who was famous. With no money in my pocket and just an idea along with prayer, hope, faith and love, I was on my way.

The poems were created and the idea was transformed into reality with the help of the angels. Little did I know how this would all come together but I did visualize this completed and done. When you visualize, try not to visualize every single step. Just see the final product completed. Then pray and feel the feelings that come to you as you finish what you set out to do. When you visualize, you add prayer and ask God to help you. After you can visualize it completed you thank God. The inner guidance I received in this case was to go to Las Vegas, Nevada so my friend and I set out on our journey. As we were driving up there, my friend and I decided to check out the different types of entertainment that was playing at the local hotels and casinos. There are always plenty of big names in Las Vegas. As I was looking through one of the magazines, I noticed a group called the Platters.

Of course we are talking about the original Platters. At that time, a few of them were still alive. We found out that they were playing at the Four Queens Hotel and got their early and had a few hours to kill before their performance. We only had a few bucks on us and couldn’t afford to stay at the Four Queens so we had to find a halfway decent place to stay that was cheap. What we found wasn’t the best, but it was located in the heart of the Strip. We thought about pitching a tent but thought the better of that idea. After we got settled in our hotel room and had time to get a little rest, we went back to The Four Queens to see the Platters perform. After the concert, we had a chance to speak with them. Not having too much time, we pondered how we were going to show them our script. My friend gave me that look as if to say we drove all the way down here for nothing. But I had an idea. After a few minutes, my intuitiveness was telling me to ask if they would be interested in doing a trade.

For exchange of reading our poems, we would give massages. Well that is what got us into the door. Most of the Platters are now ready to read the script and most everyone really enjoyed them. Everyone, that is except the main singer who hasn’t read them yet. Once we got the support from the rest of the group, we then had a chance to talk to Monroe Powell, one of the main singers. At first he was undecided if he wanted to do it. But after reading the script he fell in love with the idea. He just wasn’t sure he had the time. But somehow inside, I knew he would be there. However, at this point, we had no sound studio and nothing to record them on.

Where would I go next? Since we had very limited funds, we had to find somewhere in town that would allow us to record the Platters for free. Knowing this, would stop most people. But we had the faith and belief that God would enable us to carry out this project until completed. We didn’t know how this would come about but we could feel God’s love guide us in the right direction.

The first place we went to offered us a great deal! They would do all the recording for us for the low price of $50,000. We had barely enough money for gas to get home and enough money for one more night’s lodging and food. That was really going to fi t right in with our budget! We decided to keep on trying the rest of the day but with no luck. We were tired and using up our last bit of energy when someone gave us the name of someone in town who owned a recording studio. We went to see him and he agreed to let us use the studio. The only problem was that we had to know how to work the sound board. We had no clue as to how to engineer this particular sound board but we went ahead and scheduled a time for the Platters to come in and record anyway. The next day at the studio, the first person to arrive was the manager of the Platters. Luckily for us he just happened to be a sound engineer. We were sure relieved and thank God that he had the patience and the kindness to help us out.

The next person to arrive was Monroe Powell. We were sure glad to see him. When he came into the room he had such powerful energy, you could see the white aura glowing around him. The other singers arrived and we were now ready to record. From that point on everything went smoothly that day and we were overjoyed. But this is just one example of how faith can lead us, and how angels can help us in our everyday lives.

Don’t Wanna Miss It

I was at a once in a lifetime corporate hospitality at a premier football game and I got an urgent call from the wife saying her mum’s been hit by a bus and has only hours to live.

Fifteen minutes later, I’m at the hospital and the wife’s hugging me. "Thank-you darling, I’m so sorry you’ll miss your football."

"Don’t worry, love, I wouldn’t miss this – I’m taping it and I’ll watch it later."

Dunno why she got so upset when I started setting up the camcorder. :confused:

DON’T Spot the Difference.

Here is a truism for you…

"If you hang around Christian forums and Christian chats long enough you are bound to come across debate and disagreement in one form or another."

Actually the greater truism is that "if you hang around any diverse group of people long enough you are bound to come across debate and disagreement in one form or another because it is a potential part of group dynamic."

And yesterday was a classic example of those truisms. I was on chat and an argument broke out once again and folk passionately argued their standpoints.

The fact is that we are all diverse and unique and all bring with us the influences, teachings, experiences we have had in life and so we are going to see things differently and indeed some debate is healthy as it challenges our beliefs but I think it is very important that we be careful just what it is we debate and disagree on and more importantly how we do so.

You see what is, in my opinion, different in a Christian Chat and on Christian forums is that we have a very clear responsibility to consider what witness we are giving for Christ and need to remember that young Christians and non-Christians come into the chat room and on these forums and how we treat each other and them does have a very real baring on their understanding of Christianity and therefore of God and of Christ.

I can tell you very openly how saddened and tired I got of the bickering and so needing to sit and just relax for a little while I went into my lounge, picked up my Nintendo DS and started playing my favorite puzzle game.

It is actually a collection of numerous types of puzzles; Crosswords, Word searches, Silhouette, Codeword, Link a pic and Spot the difference.

Turning it on I looked at the current puzzle to solve and as I sat there completing it I could not help but shake this thought…

Spot The Difference is a game, a puzzle that we play. It is a worldly activity but in Christ should it ever be an activity that we focus on with each other?

Are we called to spot look at and focus on the differences that a brother in Christ or a Sister in Christ may have to us?

Yes I know it is important that we stay true to good teachings and are mindful of and cautious of wrong teaching and behavior but what about love, acceptance, finding a common ground in Christ and lovingly building on that?

Many years ago I was praying and came up with this thought. "If we reject others in Christ we also reject the Christ in others."

So how about we don’t seek to "spot the difference" in each other but instead seek to simply love each other.

I found out the mother of my children n former finacee was cheating on me a few months ago. We talked about it n I prayed about it if she was the woman I was supposed to be with. God has told me yes n she feels God has told her that he wants us to be married but he want to work on us first. So everything has been good up until now when I have discovered that she is still in contact with the guy she cheated on me with. Idk what to do anymore I’m ready to move on please someone pray for me n her n my family. Damian n Stacey. Thnx

Nicole C Mullen – Don’t Let Me Go pt. 1

Early Nicole C Mullen from the time period when she toured with Newsboys and Amy Grant doing background Vocals. In between those concerts she came to cities like ours on solo gigs. We promoted the concert at the then Whirlybird Skating rink. Many kids came and she shared her faith, dance and music with them. Though she has had incredible success she still remains warm hearted and remembered me 11 year later when she came to Dallas. Here are some clips from her early concert in St. George, Utah.
